Progress

It should be payday tomorrow or the next day from niner! I am very excited but at the same time I will be patient until Fri and then I will contact them if I don't see money yet. They take care of problems although they don't actually answer my service tickets but that's ok. I have over fifty dollars in the account now and it will be worth waiting for till firday.

I Backslid A Little Yesterday

Yes, I did it. I only posted three articles instead of four. But it was worth it. Both of my kids came over yesterday to visit and it was pretty neat. Worked my butt off afterwards to get the three articles up but that's ok too.Sometimes family has to come first.

A Hard Week

I've been babysitting my granddaughters all this week and it's been a trial by fire as far as my writing goes. Although I have been getting all of the articles done that I wanted to do, my thoughts stay scattered with drama.

Very Good Day!

Only two articles up today but they were very, very long ones so that will be another $2 in my ninerniner account. I already have $26 in there so I will definatly get a paycheck next week.I'm going for a $30 mark by the 30th of the month..not far to go and I'm sure I'll be able to do that if not more.:)

Going 90 mph!

I've been going at breakneck speed to get my ninerniner.com account built up. We need a new power inverter for the rv that we live in and that's going to cost a couple of hundred dollars.

Finally!

Long weekend. So many articles posted that I lost count..lol. I have $21 in my ninerniner account so only four more bucks to go to have the $25 required for cashout. Oh wait, I forgot, it hasn't updated today yet...might have it all by noon today.

Tired Today But I Had Fun

Only wrote two articles today but that's after grocery shopping and my granddaughter's birthday party. But that will bring my Ninerniner account to over $20!!! Gotta get it up to at least $25 before the second week of next month:)

Catching Up!!!

Wow! What an exciting couple of days it has been since my last post. I have almost $20 in my Ninerniner.com account now so it will be easy to get more than the required $25 in their before the second week of next month. Gotta keep pounding the keyboard though. I can't slack up on the amount of articles that I post to ninerniner and Triond. It seems as though the medical articles that I have been writing are actually starting to help a lot of people and that was the whole point of starting that series. Makes me feel really good, like I'm actually accomplishing something positive here.

Two more articles are at Triond and Ninerniner. Looks like I just might make a decent paycheck from Ninerniner for the month after all...lol

Pretty Darn Good Day

I'm sitting here sweating like a pig today. It's in the ninties but RAIN IS ON IT'S WAY!! Ninerniner.com's server is down today but I have two articles pending there and three more ready to upload. Damn good progress. I got three published with Triond today..not bad. I know that I won't get rich off of this BUT the money will go towards my etching supplies so that I can get those four other vases done to sell this fall. I do plan to keep writing articles since I am totally hooked on this but I want to get my arts and crafts sold too so I can get the acre of land (maybe two) that I want.

I want to make money in more than one way. I plan to get my arts and crafts shop going as well as making money off the writing.

Another Good Day

Another great day with a very good article posted. So tired though. Just totally exhausted.

Another Successful Day

I got my daily article up to my three favorite spots and am going to bed soon. Don't tell me that I can't make money online and one of the things that I will be doing with my money will be to get a printer AGAIN.

Facebook Hacked!

My Facebook account was hacked today! I don't know why people do this stupid stuff. Just mean and evil I guess. Anyway, that problem is cured now. I posted the articles today that I wanted to do yesterday evening when the internet went down. So now, I'll do more research and get some more articles done.

Wow Today Went Fast

Ok it's nine pm and that crept up really fast. I finally got some time yesterday to work on the novel a bit. Second chapter is going really well and next week I can really make a dent in my novel. Got as much of the ptc done as I could plus I published another article with Triond. I sent one to Ninerniner.com but that won't be up until Monday. That one will bring my total to $11 in my account. It took me six months to make that with Triond but I love them so much.

It won't take much longer to hit my cashout limit with Ninerniner.com since it's only $25 but that's really a lot of money for me right now..lol

Pretty Good Day Today!

Published two articles with Triond, one with Ninerniner.com and am working on one for Suite 101. It's so hard to focus for any length of time with the housework to do.

Taking A Sick Day

I hate it when I have to not do anything but lie around. My stomach is all yucky feeling today so I'm going to rest.

Excitement Today!

I checked my email at a ridiculous time this morning ..4am. I'm very glad that I did!! I found out that my application to Suite 101.com was accepted. I had to submit a sample of my article writing when I filled out the application and I was really nervous that it wasn't good enough, but it was. So I am now officially a freelance article writer!

This is a major coup for me. Suite 101 is pretty picky about the articles that they accept so I am very proud of this huge step.:)

Keeping On With My Schedule

Managed to get my daily article done for Ninerniner.com and one for Triond. I bet that I make more than $1.65 this month! Coming up with subjects to write about seems to get easier every day.

First Day Of June, 2011

I just published part 3 of my article on the Alabama-Coushatta tribe. I remember a lot of these things happening since my dad's family lived so close to the reservation. I need to work on another article for Ninerniner.com as well.

Back to the Grindstone

Memorial Day has come and gone. I hope that everyone who follows my blog enjoyed their holiday as much as I did. But now it's time to really buckle down and double up on my articles for the month of June. I was in a slump most of May so I didn't make that much with Triond. I can catch up though to my goal of at least $5 worth of work by the first of July!

The Beginning of Another Monday

Yet the beginning of another week. More bitter disappointment as there are still no more sales on my ebook but I suppose that's just one of the things a beginning writer must face. I still haven't been able to focus on the new book yet but it will happen. Just so damn tired all the time for some reason. Probably the heat and humidity which is horrible. Maybe I'll get the housework done really early and I'll be able to focus into getting something productive done. I've been keeping up the articles with Triond at least posting one daily.

I Caved In And Wrote An Article Today

So sue me! I went ahead and wrote an article on hypoglycemia. It was just too important to wait.

A Day Off!

I'm going to take the day off from writing today so that I can spend the day with my daughter. Money is nice, but family is more important! Enjoy your Sunday everyone! :)

Back To Work Finally!

If there is one glaring truth about writing it is this...it takes concentration! Hubby finally went back to work today and already I have written 2 articles for Triond. I missed my routine of writing at least one article daily for each program that I am in. I can also get back to work on my novel.

Storms As Writing Inspiration!

Yesterday Was Hubby's Birthday

Talk about a distraction! Hubby was gone most of the day, but now I have all these damn surveys to do. Hey, it's free money though. Between InboxDollars and ClixSense everything will be a little better. I had to reduce the price of my ebook, Bloodmares, again. So now it's 99 cents and I dare anyone to say that they can't afford that. I finally finished the research for the new novel so that project will be picking up steam soon. Hubby goes back to work next Friday and it's type type type again!

Hubbys Vacation Begins

Didn't get any writing done today but will get it done tonight. Hubby started his vacation today. He hasn't tired himself out yet..lol

Slow Day Today

Another slow day today. Just can't seem to get motivated. I did get a little more done to the manuscript and an article for Triond done. So tired for some reason.

Bloodmares as a Paperback!

Finally I have Bloodmares available as a paperback! It's available through Lulu.com and I am hoping sales will eventually happen. Stephen King didn't become famous over night, so I am patient. Once I get the new novel done and up for sale, I think things will get a lot better.

A Slow Saturday

Well, i didn't get much done as far as the novel goes, just a few research notes scribbled down but at least that was something. Hubby and I did the usual grocery shopping today and then my daughter came over for a visit. However I did get 2 articles done for Triond. One not so good, one was very good about the Texas drought.
Maybe I'll get more done tomorrow.

Today Is Fri the 13th!

I know that today is supposed to be bad luck but it's worked out pretty well for me so far. Hubby had to be at work early so I got some work done around the house, changed my ebook manuscript to HTML so it would look better and reuploaded it. I think I'll take a nap in a few min. then work on my new book some more. Getting it started doesn't mean much if I don't get more done than one page.

Finally, Sinkhole Begins

I finally started my new novel, "Sinkhole". I am very excited about this because the mental images keep flooding my mind constantly, begging to be written. I even wrote an article about it on Triond and as soon as that is published, I'll put the link here for it.

I have decided to only publish through Kindle because I just have too many problems uploading stuff on the other ebook publishing sites. Only having a trial version of Microsoft Word is a bitch. But so is being dead broke.lol.

Today's Plans

Well, I checked out Pubit to use for my ebook since I found out I can publish through more than one place, but since they only make payments to a bank accout, I guess I won't use them since I don't have an active bank account. That's okay though.
I started work on a new website for Bloodmares last night and am pretty happy with it so far. I'm hoping to have it finished today. I did a lot of research yesterday for my new novel, "Sinkhole". That went pretty well and I'm almost to the point to where I can start actually writing it. I found a picture that I want to make into the cover if I'm able to.

 I found this one free online and added a greenish tint to it. Anyone who has ever read Lovecraft's work will understand. His is the influence behind this work.

Final Editing is Done

I noticed that none of my posts have an cohesion at all and are on way too many scattered subjects so I will clear this up now. No, I never did get the grass for my front yard. :) But I did get "Bloodmares" published as a Kindle book and that has been a dream of mine for many years.


Those short stories were written as a way to handle my parents death so I honor them by getting them published. Also, I am working on getting my book in paperback as well. I am waiting now to hear from PublishAmerica.com but since they are only open during the week, it will probably be Monday before I hear if my manuscript has been accepted or not. I will, of course, post as soon as I find out.

New Goals

I don't write in this near as often as I should but I stay so busy lately. So, my first new goal is to plant grass in my front yard, which is basically just sand right now. This sand gets tracked into the carpet and is ruining it.

My second new goal is to start purchasing land in Glencoe, Scotland! I found this wonderful site..

March at Last!!!

Finally Spring is here. I have survived another winter..lol. I finished my science fiction series, The Solution and now I can concentrate on the dinosaur articles that I am involved in. My views have gone up a lot since I started those.

My Article On Homelessness in America Didn't Do That Well?????

I suppose that I am a visionary. I thought that maybe people would care about such an important issue as American homeless people. But I suppose not.  The article that I wrote yesterday, An American View on American Homelessness , did not get nearly as many views as I was hoping. Maybe people really don't want to know about this .

Another Beautiful Day

I went to pick up the grandkids today. It's a 45 minute drive but very peaceful. The kids are outside now playing in a pile of leaves. That's one of the great things about living in the country. Tons of leaves for them to play in. It really brings back a lot of memories.

A Brief Update

Very busy day today. Tax time always is..lol. Plus it's laundry day. This marks our eleventh year here at the rv park now. Fishing season is coming up and it's going to be hard to be on the computer all the time but I'm right in the middle of a huge sci-fi series of articles. I'm seriously thinking of turning this short story that isn't so short into a novel. I'm including a link to the first part of the story.

What it is Like Here

This is one of the most beautiful places to live that I have ever seen. It has been eleven years now since we moved here and I have had such a good time. There have been ups and downs as with any major lifestyle change, but the affordability of this place has been liberating.

I'm Now A Freelance Writer

I started writing for Triond about a month ago and it has been such a wonderful experience! I haven't had this much fun in years. And I get paid for my writing too. Not a lot at one time, mind you, but it does accumulate over time. And now that I am starting to figure out the whole Adsense thing, I can make even more money. It just makes me laugh when I think of a former friend of mine who used to laugh at me for wanting to make money strictly online..lol

Just in case anyone is wonder what this has to do with living in an rv park, well, if it wasn't for the free wi-fi that we have here, I wouldn't be able to do this..lol
